Shahrukh ~ KBC 3 and Kya aap paanchvi paas hai. Since children are reality TV’s latest obsession, Khan is doing a quiz show based on Fox‘s Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?. Titled Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai? the show is based on testing one’s common sense.   And what happens to KBC? Rumours suggest that good ol’ Bachchann will be returning to his home turf. According to reports, Paanchvi Pass is also SRK’s attempt at connecting with kids and make up for the absence of a Taare Zameen Par or a superhero film in his filmography.

Salman Khan ~Indian version of Power of 10. The international version is hosted by Drew Carey and contestants are expected to predict how Americans from different cross-sections of society would have answered a question. Salman had reportedly rejected the offer initially, but Rs 89 crore were too much to resist even for the brawny Khan.

9X roped in Lara Dutta to provide the glam quotient in their show Mission Ustaad. And she just did that. Avoiding the technicalities, pretty Lara stuck to providing moral support to the celeb contestants.

Even ‘has beens’ such as Raveena Tandon and Sonali Bendre have been bitten by the reality bug. Raveena is judging Chak De Bacche on 9X, while Bendre was a part of the recently concluded Mr and Mrs TV on Sony.

Ajay Devgan and Kajol
